Jason Barletta was born and raised in Revere, Massachusetts where he developed a passion for art as a young child. His father drew and painted often and Jason was right there with him making art well into the night. As a young man he dove head first into Boston’s graffiti and underground art scene.

After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Art from UMass he fulfilled a life long dream and moved to New York City where he currently lives and works as a full time tattooist at Rising Dragon Tattoos in Manhattan. His tattoo style reflects his painterly roots with a street touch. He is always tattooing, painting, drawing, and pushing his art daily. When he’s not making art he is training to compete in triathalons and holds a strong passion for health and fitness.
